Who we are

Shawn Boekhouding (Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 42176383) is responsible for processing personal data as described in this statement. You can reach us at info@shawnboekhouding.nl.

What data do we process?

To provide our services we process, among other things: your name and contact details, company details (such as your Chamber of Commerce and VAT numbers), and the financial documents you send us, such as invoices, receipts and bank statements.

Why do we process this data?

We use your data only to keep your accounts, file your tax returns, stay in contact with you and meet our legal obligations. The legal bases are the performance of our agreement with you and our legal obligations.

How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. For accounting records the Dutch statutory retention period of seven years generally applies.

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data. We only share data when this is needed for our services or required by law, for example with the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst). With parties that process data on our behalf, such as our hosting provider, we have a data processing agreement.

Security

The client portal can only be accessed with a personal client code and password, over an encrypted connection. Documents are visible only to you and to our office.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The client portal only uses a strictly necessary cookie to keep you logged in, which is removed when you log out or close your browser. If you choose a language, a cookie remembers that choice.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, as far as the law allows. Please contact us for this. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
